Have fun mini golfing while supporting a great cause on Aug. 4 at Stix Fun Center, 582 Kelley Blvd., North Attleborough. For $10 per player, enjoy golfing, facepainting, contests, food and much more, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit Little Angels of Warren-Powers Memorial Fund which was set up to benefit the twins of Cheryl Warren-Powers. Cheryl, 39, died May 22, four days after giving birth to her twins Jordan and Craig. Cheryl worked at a Plainville business, was a Foxboro resident, and a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School.
Cheryl, 39, was the first female athlete at Bishop Feehan High School to score 1,000 career points, finishing with 1,088 in 1991. She was also a standout softball athlete and went on to play both at Wheaton College. She later coached both sports at several local high schools including serving as the long-time assistant girls’ basketball coach at Foxboro as well as softball at Wheaton.
